About Avie Signature Collections
Hello! Glad to see you on my site. I am Avie, full name Arvin S. Velasquez, a multimedia and print graphic designer with great strengths in typography, branding and creating bespoke layouts for advertisements, magazines and other media. I currently work at an independent publishing company and have been involved in all stages of print production, web development, brand strategy and more. I enjoy working in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
My main focus has always been to create work that is emotive, balanced and aesthetically pleasing, while being meticulous (checking colour proofs for accuracy!) and attentive to the client’s design brief. I use mostly digital software — Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro — but I also have a flair in the traditional arts of drawing, sketching and painting.

Content development helps to improve business conversions because it allows us to connect with and educate our clients. Not only am I working to build trust and relationships, content developing also provides a deep understanding of the type of material the client requires.
I Create Wireframe Designs for Clients
Wireframing is an important communication tool in any web or application project. It gives the client, developer and myself an opportunity to walk through the structure of the website without getting sidetracked by design elements such as colors and images.
I am a creator of CSS style guide
CSS Style Guide is an important communication medium as it provides important visual details, such as colours and typography. A detailed guide shown to the developer and client informs them of where the direction of their website is going — this saves plenty of time and avoids unnecessary reworks.
I make sure the layout does not disrupt the SEO
SEO is not only about search engines but also a good social promotion strategy of any website. Having an effective SEO helps improve user experience and website usability. With proper layout and SEO hand-in-hand, website navigation is enhanced and eventually the website could reach top positions for certain keywords.
